Tasteful Tips For Illuminating Your Yard

Home lighting now is an important component of home decor so it should be planned carefully.  We were a custom pool builder/contractor and we mostly work in the Central Florida/Metro Orlando, Florida area - Orange County, Lake County and other areas but we also did work with DIY pool projects throughout the country so we know what we are talking about.

While relatively few parents would allow their child to be unsupervised in a lake (16 percent) or the ocean (13 percent), more than a third (37 percent) would allow their child to be in a home, hotel or neighborhood pool without adult supervision, according to today's report from the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital National Poll on Children's Health.

The National Lightning Safety Institute recommends that whenever lightening is within 6 to 8 miles of an indoor facility, pool managers should evacuate patrons to dry, safe areas within the building and bar anyone outside from entering the facility.

There was a time, long, long ago, when pool lighting served only two real purposes: (a) to help you find your otherwise pitch black pool at night, and (b) to help you avoid accidentally finding your otherwise pitch black pool at night - and thereby avoid accidentally falling into it. However, the days when lighting the pool was merely a means to facilitate a purposeful (or prevent an inadvertent) midnight plunge have gone the way of the dinosaur.

Because concrete is porous, it makes it a perfect breeding ground for germs, bacteria and algae, polluting your swimming pool quickly, making it unpleasant to be in. If you don't keep on track of your maintenance, it will become a difficult problem to fund.
